Rang De Basanthi....

I always thought that there are two kinds of people in the world. One who go to their death screaming and the one who go to their death in silence. I met the third kind. .... wow!!!! wat a opening.

“While DJ was sleeping that night, I got a thought that DJ was not actually sleeping, probably none of them were, DJ and others were actually waking up” (Forgot the exact wordings)

These words made me think, how about me and for that matter how about most of the Indians. Are we still sleeping?
I guess the answer is simple, yes we are still sleeping. That’s the reason why India still lists on top of the corrupt nations in the world. Many of the people who have seen the movie have given a review that the movie is a “must watch”. I’m keen to know what the reason behind it is. Is it just because of the actors, screenplay and other filmography or is it because of the characters, the message it carries.

“We also need to do something about this” I told my friend, he agreed. And then next question that popped up was but HOW? You cannot go and kill all the corrupt officials and politicians, as they do in the movie. (If it were like that, then 90% of all the gov officials and politicians would have been in hell now). The best option that we found to be effective was to join the politics. If not you can join the politics, then at least elect the right people and the spread the same awareness among the people who are deprived of good education.

Talking about the movie itself, its just awesome. The team has taken care of most of, even the minute, details. The first half is fun, extremely fast and never loses the viewers' attention. But the second half surprisingly and rapidly turns the mood, and brings us to serious topics. Though many movies with social messages tend to bore the audience, this is unlike those.

The Music by Rehman is just awesome… WOW!!!!.... and to match that lyrics by Prasoon Joshi, definitely awakens the generation.
Loved the song “Lukka chuppi”, the emotions in this song is too good.

On the ending note as they show in the movie lets sow the seeds for the Revolution

I don't see why a movie like rang de basanti has to be seen for people to realise all of this. "You have all already failed, if you need a movie to make you realise, you are all sleeping and will remain asleep, this is my guarantee" I did not have to see Rang de basanti to know all of this. I knew it long before, I knew it when I saw a son leave his parents to take care of his new family, I know it when all the Indians are getting excited about 250million people who speak english, that means 250million more ppl with bullshit. If there is one thing you need to realise is eat your pride , don't be selfish , don't say "I " sorry I did it earlier. I don't know why I am not coherent , guess I am just angry at what I see everyday and everytime I am in India.

There can be no bigger loser than you.
I knew it long before, I knew it when I saw a son leave his parents to take care of his new family,

If You knew it long back, what have you done to change it. That is the point I'm making, people know about this but are not doing anything.

Whats it to do with a son leaving his parents to take care of his new family with this post????. OK to that point- That son is again a Big loser who has to leave his parents. NEW FAMILY???? what about the parents???? Now that he is married does the relationship with his parents end????

all the Indians are getting excited about 250million people who speak english, that means 250million more ppl with bullshit. ......I am just angry at what I see everyday and everytime I am in India.

If you have such a opinion, then why are you not working in India itself, why is that you get Angry when you come to INDIA, why not look out for your bread here itself???

don't be selfish , don't say "I "
This is my blog, and these are my opinions...
Also if you have to bring about any change it has to start from you itself, you cannot change the system all at once...

Great ideas have come out through a very good film.I enjoyed the movie on the whole.
Entertainment apart, there are many revolutionary thoughts that have emerged by the Rang De Troop.
Not to forget the films Yuwa and Nayak in recent days that have impressed true citizens.

One way to awaken people is Enter politics , as Nandan said.
In the beginning its difficult to survive in a pool of corrupted politicians, but through our ideas and ideals, I am sure, we can change the system.
Another way is media.
We cannot change the system unless and until we interact with people.
The best way for interaction would be through Radio. (People with good communication skills can work as RJs and run shows, which creates awareness about our responsibilities as true citizens to eradicate corruption.)

No matter what you are ( an employee or a student), never hesitate to express your views and ideas to anyone.
If you are frank and brave , its not at all difficult to change the unhealthy system.
